Histology and Imaging Facility
The Histology Core Lab is outfitted with state-of-the-art automated equipment providing fast turnaround times. The new tissue processor can process up to 300 samples at once, with 15 reagent bottles designed for less evaporation. The Imaging Suite is designed to provide dark (light tight) workspaces for sensitive microscopy techniques. The Suite has bundled three powerful microscopes and one data analysis work station to provide CFRI investigators with a centralized microscopy shop. [more...]

To meet the need for immediate access to common lab reagents, the CMMT operates an onsite stockroom that carries common consumables from vendors such as VWR, Fisher, Diamed Scientific, Rainin, and Island Scientific, as well as a wide selection of reagents on consignment from Invitrogen, Qiagen, and BioRad Laboratories.
