Reproduction & Healthy Pregnancy
Key Areas of Research Activity
Major research areas in the Reproduction & Healthy Pregnancy research cluster focus on reproduction across the lifespan including:
- Reproductive endocrine and ovarian function in relation to ovulation, fertility, sex hormone-dependent cancers and the menopause
-
Normal and abnormal pregnancy from the genetic and cellular processes involved in implantation and placentation to the role of maternal physiological and psychological health on fetal development and pregnancy outcome.
There are currently 22 investigators who work with the Reproduction & Healthy Pregnancy research cluster, covering a breadth of medical and scientific expertise. On site members manage over $3,500,000 annually in peer-reviewed research grants. Recently, we were successful at obtaining a large collaborative five-year grant on Epigenetics and Human Reproduction that includes six RHRP investigators.
