Changes to the RISe Application:
New Requirement to Complete Question 4.6
UBC has agreed to participate in a Canada-wide collaborative effort to expedite research studies that are time-sensitive in nature and related to public health emergencies such as pandemics (including H1N1). In order to facilitate this process, researchers are now required to complete question 4.6 A of the research ethics application form, so that the Board and Research Ethics Administration can ensure that these studies are dealt with in accordance with the collaborative review process. This requires that all applicants must complete question 4.6A. If you do not complete this question, when the application is submitted you will be required to go back to complete the field.
